ABOUT ME
After spending nearly two years researching, learning about and then creating iOS prototype apps, I got a formal education in iOS development via an immersive course at The Iron Yard, Orlando. Finishing up that course, I was able to get an app published in the App Store.
Finished with school, I continued to work in app development at Northland Church, engineering and publishing another app to the App Store, working on enhanced feature sets (and versions), overseeing the development of the app's Android version and engineering a companion tvOS app.
I then moved on to a position with Cru International as a Senior Mobile Engineer, working on the complete life cycle development of their enterprise app, as well as additional free apps on the App Store.
I was later enticed to join the team at Neulion College to manage their portfolio of 15+ college athletics apps, rewriting and enhancing their code to eliminate dependencies and meet (and exceed) client needs.
I’m currently working on AdventHealth’s flagship patient app, helping to ensure patients have easy, secure access to scheduling in-person or virtual appointments, medical records, lab results, and doctor information.
Current and past work experiences (including a 20+ year career in Audio Engineering) leave me well-versed in a myriad of technologies, disciplines (both personal and professional) and work cultures.
I am a self-starter, eager researcher and dedicated finisher. I like deadlines, but I enjoy the chance to be creative. I'm naturally energetic, driven and always a team player.
